Hello, I’m Dr. Brigette Erwin. I am a licensed psychologist specializing in anxiety, stress and the many problems that occur with these disorders. I founded and direct the Anxiety and OCD Center, where I help adults, children, adolescents, couples and families to understand and learn strategies to fix anxiety. I also provide coaching to professionals, executives, and students to help them create a calm and confident presence, in order to achieve their personal and professional goals.
We have come a long way in terms of experimental research related to anxiety and stress. We don’t have to guess or leave to opinion answers to the questions of how to create an internal feeling of calm, a confident presence, happy relationships and skillfully managed social situations. The answers to these questions are based on science, and the proving ground of professional clinical practice.
Unfortunately, effective strategies for dealing with anxiety and stress are not widely available to the general public.
