About Dr. Erwin
Dr. Erwin is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families affected by anxiety, depression, and related problems.
Dr. Erwin received her Ph.D. from Temple University and completed a National Institute of Mental Health postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Erwin has since served as Director of the OCD Program at the Anxiety and Agoraphobia Treatment Center and Associate Director of the Adult Anxiety Clinic of Temple University. She is a nationally recognized speaker and author, and has written numerous professional journal articles and book chapters on the topic of the anxiety disorders. In addition, Dr. Erwin trains other professionals in the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. Currently she is on the executive board of the Philadelphia Behavior Therapy Association, the membership committee of the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, and the Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary Archdiocese of Philadelphia Admissions Board.
The quality of Dr. Erwin’s work and her dedication to the study and treatment of the anxiety disorders has been recognized with awards from the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the National Institute of Mental Health, the Medical University of South Carolina, Temple University, and Boston College.
